Well, we made it to the hospital about an 1/2 hour ago or so. I drove, as my friend Brian would say, Fun, yet safe. We made it here in 11 minutes from our house. Diana is doing great! She is using the birthing ball and is doing "child's pose". All the rage in the yoga craze! Our friends Amy and Jordan came by. Jordan gave his moral cheers and Amy is acting as our rock star photographer! Diana is using the birthing ball now. It is working well!

Checking in...its 1:27am and I just woke from a dream of Diana giving birth, so naturally I had to check in. Can't stop thinking of you...LOVE seeing those videos...they help SOOOO much in allowing us to feel like were are there!
I'm honored to be here to help however I can! Diana is doing an amazing job and Brian is being super supportive. I'm taking a little break now to try to get some sleep but I think I might be too excited to really do that! :)
The birthing center is really great. They have a really nice, private room with lots of options, and there's even a jacuzzi down the hall...
You guys are awesome and I can't think of a better set of parents for Abby to have!

I simply cannot sleep! I'm like a kid at Christmas!! Wondering what stage you're at, D....how dialated, etc. and I'm just doing the only thing I can from here...praying for you! I am so proud of you, my friend!
d...I am so excited for you! You're doing GREAT! It was so good to hear your voice. Hearing you go through your contractions makes me feel like I'm there all over again...wish I could be there to hold your hand. It was awesome to see the videos so far...can't wait to see more. Just think, soon you'll be holding that sweet baby girl and this will all be a memory. It's worth every second of labor. Hang in there. I'm so proud of you!
PS Brian...you're doing great, too. Thanks for taking such good care of my little sis. Give her a hug for me...wait, maybe not, she might knock you to the other side of the room...how about blow her a kiss for me!
It's me checking in again. Almost 4:00 in Seattle. My mind is racing wondering and thinking of how the two of you are doing. Thank goodness for technology. With being so far away, these videos and being able to see and hear you are precious! We love you both!

frenzied anticipation! i have an appointment with the midwives at 11am this morning, please let me know if i can bring you ANYTHING to the hossy, remember i live less than two blocks away - restaurant food, home cooked food you name it! i can't wait to hear!

I can't believe this amazing technology!! I was up until 3 AM reading angel cards for you and crying and laughing, Steven was about to change my airplaine ticket to today, but no luck. It is so good to see you and Brian, I feel so much more connected this way. Thank you Brian for doing this, I guess I forgive you for moving to Seattle =). I am so proud of you Diana, you are doing great, please keep us updated and know that I am thinking of you and remember what your angel card said last night.
