Well, it is the morning after. We have been digitally quiet for quite some time now. For those of you who have been through this process, you know why. For the rest, let me explain. After Abby was born, breast-fed and bathed we crashed we realized that Diana and I had been up from 7AM the previous day - about 36 hours. In that time we slept for about 3 hours. Diana had been working nonstop and I was just running around like a mad man trying to make sure she was all set. We crashed. We could do nothing more than hold Abby and sit quietly. Finally we went to sleep and had the nurses baby sit for us. When we woke up 3 hours later, Amy and Jordan had brought sushi over to Diana, Anne, Mike, and myself. It was great. Our own little hospital sushi party. It was just what we needed. After we finished eating we were able to go through some of the photos and separate out all of the PG and R rated birth photos. After 3 QA checks, (thanks for the tip Wes) the PG photos are on their way up right now. Just check BD Photos to see them.

More pictures, yeah! I keep checking, waiting as more get put on to be able to see your experience. But, we do understand you needed a rest after everything all three of you went through. Glad you let the nurses take over for awhile. Use them now while you can so the two of you can rest. Love ya!
More tears as I browse through the photos from yesterday. It was almost as if I was there with you! Thank you, thank you for sharing those!!! I'm glad that you have been able to rest...and like Monica said, take advantage of the nurses while you can...you'll be thankful you did! That way you can head home more rested! BTW, when do you expect to be dc'd? Sending love from all of us today!

Good morning Brian, Diana, and Abbigale! You three look amazingly good. Bilbo and Libby are coming to visit on Saturday. I'm figuring about 2 weeks but you let me know what you want. I know you'll miss your dogs. Give me a call when you're ready to receive visitors. I can't wait to see Abby in person.
Love,
Lynn
These are such beautiful pictures. What a great job Brian!! I felt like I was in the room with Diana, it has been hard not being there to hold her hand. I love seeing the pictures of you holding Abby, she is a such sweet little girl, I feel such happiness when I see them. I can only imagine how tired you must be, please rest as much as you can and enjoy every second with her. I can't believe I will get to meet her tomorrow, I am full of energy and ready to take care of you guys and help you in every way you need me to. I will be your Ecuadorian maid and nany =)
I feel so blessed to be part of this experience

I love the pictures of all of you. How special! So many tears of happiness as I look at all the photos. If i have this many tears now, I can imagine how it will be the day we actually get to hold Abby and see the love in your eyes in person. A million thanks for keeping the site updated!
