Mailbox Peak Hike

I just got back from the most difficult hike I have ever done in my life: Mailbox Peak (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/getaways/112797/hike27.html). It was also one of the best ever. In one day I was able to battle floods, snow fields, near frostbite temperatures, and even a large moraine. All with the joy of glissading down the mountain through a snowstorm with the dogs running behind after. I got to say, if you want t go on one of the best hikes near Seattle, this is it. And hey, when you get t the top, there is a mailbox so you can send a postcard or two. Not sure how frequent pickup is though.
